Hydraulic Tractor Wood Chipper With Shear Bolt PTO Shaft To Match 19-55 HP Tractor
The FRED TM-86H is a robust compact wood chipper with a hydraulic auto-feed system that features an impressive 8" x 6" capacity. This chipper weights in at 825 lbs., with a 210 lbs. solid steel flywheel. Although this machine can handle tractors of 50 plus HP, it was specifically designed for use on smaller sub compact tractors with as little as 19 HP at the PTO such as BXseries Kubotas, John Deere 1000 series, New Holland, Massy Ferguson GC series, Mahindra Max series, and more. The FRED TM-86H wood chipper is compact, yet built to withstand commercial use. The aggressive hydraulically powered in-feed roller grabs and pulls material into the chipper head using a powerful hydraulic motor. The motor is powered by the chippers’ self-contained hydraulic pump and tank.
FRED TM-86H chipper offers a large 8" x 6" in-feed to easily accept those crooked branches. Although the opening is this size, the material you can chip is dictated by the HP of your tractor. With a 19HP tractor (at the PTO) you can expect to easily chip 4" material.
The FRED TM-86H chippers use a 29” diameter 210lb. solid steel flywheel to deliver the energy required to easily chip all types of material. The flywheel is computer controlled dynamically balanced to ensure smooth running. Through thorough testing and experimentation, FRED has discovered that the 210lbs flywheel is ideal for sub compact tractors. Larger flywheels do not produce optimal effects when used with sub compact tractors, since larger flywheels require more horsepower to turn, which reduces chipping capacity and efficiency. With larger flywheels, horsepower is diverted into turning the flywheel, instead of chipping your branches!
